Advice on used pickup trucks
Well, the 16 y.o. is now a licensed driver. (Pray for us...two male drivers under the age of 25 - ouch!)
I would like some suggestions from the peanut gallery on a reasonable make/model to look for. What are the smaller-sized pickups? Most I come across are Chevy Silverado, Ford F150's, and other big trucks.
Thanks.

Box mixed brands - it's Toyota Tacoma, Nissan Frontier
I'd say go to edmunds.com and research there. Based on my limited experience, I'd say go Japanese. Of course, everyone should have a junker for their first car; mine was a LeBaron GTS.

I agree on the junker. I drove a 75 Buick Skylark. Worse POS ever made. Learned alot about car repairs. Then I drove a land yacht 77 Olds 98 with a V-8 engine. "Love Shack" reminds me of that car. :)

OMG...mea culpa!
I seriously used the wrong word. I thought it meant continuous typing (it *does* sound like that)
Chalk up another gaffe.
