Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Edits and notes, in order that they appear:
"...Many of the much-trumpeted features..."

Office 2003 will install and run on Vista.

MSDE isn't supported on Vista, but I'm not convinced that that is is the same as "won't work". Of course "isn't supported" is Microsoft-ese for "won't get the security update to stop you getting humped by the next iteration of Slammer".

If Vista looks like a Macintosh, then I have an uncanny resemblance to Brad Pitt.

"...doing some image work, lets say, and..."

"Lets Say Microsoft finds there's a flaw in a popular video card, which might allow breaking DRM protections."

"...to help complexicatecomplicate the situation."

"But it gets worse: [note colon, not full stop] a Vista computer..."

You know what's really stupid? Most of the "premium content" that all this shit is designed to safeguard is unutterable shit that's not even fit for wiping the arse of you and I.

(That last bit isn't necessarily an editorial comment, but it's a good point)

New Good suggestions, and I've made adjustments.
I did, however, find some fairly solid evidence MSDE actually doesn't run on Vista. Particularly a software company's instructions on how to get their software to work once you find out MSDE doesn't work. You have to disable Account Control and then uninstall MSDE for starters.

New Well, Peter claims to be from . . .
. . an earlier population established before the various krautish tibes landed in England, so an appropriate CRC designation might be "ignorant aboriginal baboon".
