Airport officials said Friday they will consider setting aside a private area for prayer and meditation at the request of imams concerned about the removal of six Muslim clerics from a US Airways flight last week.

Both are small groups addicted to a harmful behavior.

New Not so new.
Kuala Lumpur International Airport has prayer rooms, as does Kota Kinabalu (Sabah, Malaysian Borneo) airport, and I think Sandakan (also in Sabah) airport might, too.

New They were signposted with an Islamic symbol.
Which is understandable given that Islam is Malaysia's dominant religion.

FWIW, the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney has an interfaith chapel.

New Sure, and let the Jeezmoids keep their silly habit there too
The ostentatious habit of praying in public is always equally annoying(*), regardless of which specific manifestation of the Supreme Superstition the poor deluded victims are trying to call on their spirit-phone. So, yeah, I'm all for it -- as long as we let them ALL keep their imaginary pal out of sight hearing of normal people.

(*): And, yes, in its own way, about as offensive as the more physical habit of blowing actual smoke in one's face.

New Airport here has a "ecumenical and interfaith chapel".

It would be good if people could help with the swift opening of bags that are wiggling and/or noisy.
