Fuck that. If their labor laws aren't comparable to ours, they can't sell it here. No duty. No tarrif. Both are a detriment to the existing work force. Both leave highly skilled workers without a job. A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. (Herm Albright)

If the product was made in conditions that don't meet minumum federal standards, stop them at the border. Your state wants to do the same at the state border? Well, that'd be hard, seeing as our state borders are open.
