But according to this brilliant Brit scientist...
on climate change. Well OK, he's actually [link|http://www.economist.com/research/backgrounders/displaystory.cfm?story_id=8108395|an economist]: "Sir Nicholas, however, comes up with quite different figures. By feeding into his model both some recent science on the increased risks of dramatic climate change, and the possibility of such catastrophes as a rise in sea level big enough to flood London and New York, he calculates that the range of possible outcomes lies somewhere between 5% and 20% of global output over the next century or two. At those sorts of levels of overall economic damage, the impact on the rich world as well as the poor world is huge." So how much of the Hooper Bay moving inland will convince you?

Not for a long time
All the crap buried in NJ soil would get into the water - it would be worse than the East River in the 70s!

You'd just need to hold onto the property for a century or so!
Still - think how bad it would be in Edison - a chain of islands in a SEA of toxic sludge... Hell - when it rains NOW, Edison is a chain of islands in a sea of toxic sludge...

you're reading the report not the disagreement on the report
Water is not rising in hooper, no more than it always had. As much change as they claim the village would have to move to cape romanzoff which would become an island. The "little people" wouldnt allow that. thanx, bill
