Another note about Gen. Butler
Some of you may already know this, but Butler was approached by a group of businessmen in 1933 to help them with a military coup to overthrown FDR.

Instead, he reported tihis plot and testified about it before Congress. Interestingly, no prosecutions were ever pursued and the matter has been mostly suppressed.
We need more Smedley Butlers.
