Looking for Kubuntu X.Org config info

Post #269,109 by broomberg 10/1/06 6:17:58 PM Reply	Looking for Kubuntu X.Org config info I have an ATI dual head card: ATI Technologies Inc Radeon RV100 QY [Radeon 7000/VE] I want to use 2 monitors. Right now the image is mirrored, I want large desktop. Previous systems that I've done this I used either a Matrox or Nivdia card, and they had a simple GUI to generate the x.conf file. This does not. I attempted to get the driver/installer file off the ATI web site, but it seems to be for later cards. Any pointers?

Post #269,184 by dws 10/2/06 2:15:00 AM Reply	Neighbor who does firmware says ATI is crap Especially for dual head. The folks I know with dual-headed Linux boxes all use nvidia. It still requires a driver download.
