Finally finished that bastard off this morning.
Man that was a big fish!
Mostly he got poached and eaten with lemon-butter sauce. Pretty good eating, actually. The only problem, as with other fish designed during the Jurrasic, is all those branching spines in the flesh, but they're less a problem in a big one like this and you get used to pulling them as you go.
With [link|http://www.clovegarden.com/ingred/sf_milkz.html|Milkfish] you can remove them but not with carp - they're more spread out and they're stuck in there hard until cooked.
