Welcome to IWETHEY!

New IWETHEY Blocked !?!
(Here...Internet...WaterCooler...or even Administrivia? this was my best guess...)

Large Giant Corp. has finally caught up to my weakness for stimulating conversation, camraderie, and occasional need to let off steam (not to mention the occasional raucous, but not rancorous, debates with Todd re: C++), and has blocked z.iwethey.org. I'm not exactly sure why they took such action. I'm probabaly the only person employed by $LGC who knows about IWT. I don't think it was personal; speculation with some of my co-workers centered on the fact that Google Ads continually reference places that have been previously blocked, and that an increasing number of links here tend to reference YouTube, which is similarly blocked. So I suspect it is a case of "guilt by association".

In any case, I'm wondering if there is another URL or proxy or similar "back door" to IWETHEY that $LGC hasn't yet discovered, so that I can return to these hallowed halls during my lunch hour (which really averages only about 35 minutes or so), and during those interminable builds. If anybody has an idea, I'd sure like to hear it.

thanx-

"So don't pay attention to the approval ratings that say 68% of Americans disapprove of the job this man is doing. I ask you this, does that not also logically mean that 68% approve of the job he's not doing? Think about it. I haven't."

New Stay tuned
You're not the only one with the issue. A solution may be forthcoming -- from any of a couple of directions.

New Did you both try Torpark?

Surf through a Tor node, it works like a proxy server. I'd like to see them block all Tor proxy IPs.

New Heard about this recently...
May be a solution. Of course, they could block torpark.nfshost.com....

I'll try it tomorrow.
