Pro-Saddam demonstrators in Iraq
There was a pro-Saddam Hussein demonstration today in his hometown of Tikrit, Iraq.
About 500 people turned out to demand his return to power.
On one level anybody with a grasp of history knew this would happen eventually. People close to Saddam that lost power and people that fear the uncertainty of what is happening now begin to look back on his rule as at least being stable.
On another level, it is a bad sign for an already unstable and weak government.
