Which brings me to an idea that has been germinating since the last Diebold thread. Diebold has all these little stickers they put on all the screws and stuff to detect tampering and the researchers apparently bypassed these in ways that are totally detectable.

So, consider what happens if the wingnuts float the following idea in their daily mindcontrol - er talking points memo just before the election.

Voters in districts that are predominantly pro-dem should go in with a little pocket knife and bust the seals on the machines when they vote. What is the fallback plan. Do they just disqualify that machine? What about the people who voted on it? Seems like a simple strategy with no viable plan-B.
