My 1st hard disk was 20 MB in a Turbodos system.
I think the disk portion of the purchase was over a thousand dollars.

New 15-Meg 5" full hight here . . .
Bought it on the surplus market from California Digital for just under $400 for my S-100 Bus system. Don't know what they cost retail except that I couldn't afford it. Still have that critter around here somewhere.

and I was quite excited about it too as when I placed my order for the Amiga 2000HD the specs listed a 40 MB drive.
