Pictures from North Korea
[link|http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?t=82755|http://www.militaryp...hread.php?t=82755]
Apparently, one is NSFW, but I'm not sure which one it is.
EDIT: It's on page 7, somebody replaced one of the pictures with a Goatse.cx image. Now I need to go clean my brain out with hydrochloric acid. :P
Hurt me if you must, but let the duckie go!

Always thought the APOD
[link|http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap001127.html|Earth at Night] made South Korea look like an island.
[link|http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showpost.php?p=1765181&postcount=134|reply 134] was an interesting read as well.
Thanx!

Thanks.. Orwellian but also Surprising
Hmmm - why, with a little Freedom-invasion - these folks would come around to MickeyDs and a non-participative democracy like ours, in a few months..
Prolly could bring that venture in for $B 20, 30? - - 40 tops!
..just as fast as Baghdad -- why that bronze statue of The Dear Leader would topple in a flash -- signifying The End of Hostilities. Can we squeeze that in after Iran, Syria, San Francisco?

Boring and Orwellian
Interesting how they managed to be both boring and Orwellian. I guess because they look so much exactly like what I expected, a low budget B-movie version of communist Russia.

Orwellian IS boring.
The idea of the oppressor is to reduce the common person into a dreary dreamless existence without the thought of anything greater beyond the state.
