In '50s, via my first freedom-wheels: a Whizzer motor bike (bicycle + motor) I wanted to ride from Pacific Beach to There. My mater saith No! (Maybe wisely.. but it wasn't That big a deal; it was reliable - I was too, sorta.. 'Course it would have helped if I'd had a license.) Oh well. Lucky you.
