Have you been watching America's Got Talent? There's this 11-year-old girl from Philly that sings blues, gospel, rock ... She did a Janis Joplin number, and if you closed your eyes you thought it was her. No 11YO should be allowed to be that talented.
Great line from the finals. After Bianca did her number, Brandy (one of the judges, recording artist with over 10.5-million albums sold) said, "You make me want to go practice."
Oh, and the kid from Indiana that plays harmonica is freaking scary-good. They had John Popper (Blues Traveller frontman) come in to give him some tips. Said afterward that the kid was one of the best harp players he'd ever heard, and he's 12.
