Welcome to IWETHEY!

New looks like I will stick with ford for the future
2005 van has 32k miles. Wife asked me to get gas. I havnt driven it for a few weeks, its her vehicle. Grindijing slushing noises from rear when I apply brakes. WTF! how long has that been going on? 2 weeks :-(
check warranty, brakes for 12k calipers for 18k FUCK!

peel off all four tires. Huh, have 40k more miles on the front pads, right rear same, left rear the outer pad is good, the rear pad is gauging chunks off the rotor.

call auto parts stores, its a 2005 dealer only item !!FUCK!!

Car needs 30k service, goto dealer. They have a $499.00 includes tranny fluid change, fuelinjector cleaning throttle plate cleaning, fuel filter, air, oil filter replacement replacement.

tell him about the rotor, he calls parts $130. Pads are FUCKING $119.00! I tell him we had it in the shop at 15k miles complaining about noises in rear. He shrugs and sez, I can call ford but you have 32k on it. I try to get the rotor at least. He promises to try.

I go to pick up the van.

Price $499 plus tax. Technician states that the left rear caliper was sticking, and since the other three wheels showed less than normal wear he called ford and they covered all costs of the repair at $368 (dealer would have charged me)

Compared to my other shitty KIA warranty issues, I will stick with Ford if I anm ever stupid enough to buy a new car again.

thanx,
bill

"So don't pay attention to the approval ratings that say 68% of Americans disapprove of the job this man is doing. I ask you this, does that not also logically mean that 68% approve of the job he's not doing? Think about it. I haven't."
