Ding, ding, Rand! What day of this month is your birthday?
I'm pretty certain it is in August.
For now, have a happy birthday sometime around now! :)

Re: Ding, ding, Rand!
Ah, yesterday. I took the day off, went to the beach (foggy at 1300; burnt off by 1345), splashed in the surf and dined late in the afternoon at [link|http://www.pelicaninn.com/|The Pelican Inn] above Muir Beach while reflecting that one's denial of "middle age" somehow doesn't cut it in the face of the brute number "54." Still, I did my best...
How kind of you to...remember? I can't recall telling.
cordially

middle age is like middle earth it depends on
where you think you are standing, although hobbiton seems like the ideal place an elf wench at the prancing pony on your lap while you are blowing smoke rings with a wizard makes life the merrier. till you are woken up by the alarm jangling anyway and realize its time for another day at the hamster wheel of life. thanx, bill

All right, Rand!
That's a very nice celebration.
I can't point you to when you said your birthday was in August, but at least implicitly you did.
