This is to be the coolest day of the week...with tomorrows forecast of 39-40 (100F+) with the heat index at over 45 (110F). I'm preparing a honey glaze for the children who are certain to be baked with a light crispiness come Friday :-) Too much of today's music is fashionable crap dressed as artistry._{Adrian Belew}

Supposed to break tomorrow night. Current 97 air temp with heat index of 105. Add to it a hot air "breeze". Was out for lunch. Glad to be back in the office. A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. (Herm Albright)

At least everyone finally has their power back on in the St. Louis area, or most everyone anyway. There were 900 on Saturday night still without power and they worked hard and got most of them up, I believe on Sunday. O'Fallon MO got hit though and a bunch of them lost power, but I think they were getting those people back up on Sunday also. We're still cleaning up the tree debris and stuff, but the end is in sight. Whew. What an experience. Stay cool, Beep, and anyone else in this heat wave.
