Well, it's good to hear that . . .
. . some progress might occurr - if it isn't just an exception. Nothing would please me more than to be proven completely wrong and see Islam grow up, but I'm not counting on it.
Here in the U.S. Muslim leaders are so concerned with the increasing disrespect their religion is held in they recently met with the Dali Lama to see if he could advise them how to build a peaceful image. They could try being peaceful, of course, but that might be too hard in a religion based on "conversion by the sword".
With every story of "Islamic justice" and Sharia law we read or see on TV, respect for Islam as a "major world religion" declines another notch on its way to being though of as just another violent street gang.
