Post #262,356 by Ashton 7/21/06 5:15:58 AM Reply	Think that's just one aspect - When long out of practise, the hippocampus tends to have a leaky buffer - never transfers the details / or often, even the gist/overview to er, harder storge. {roughly.. speaking} Will agree that, Interest is ever The key to bringing one's full Attention to any event (visual or just audio, or even - touching things in the dark. ;-) But I think one's capacity can become lowered.. by a steady diet of all those 10-sec-span trivialities, now a daily flood -- especially for those with diverse devices. (Could the factor be N! for this effect? Can I get another Honorary Degree for that?) Hey! it's Rupert Murdoch on Charlie Rose tonight, for the hour... er, what were we talking about?
