Post #261,846 by folkert 7/15/06 9:14:52 PM Reply	Resized the Windows Partition... Not quite sure what you have to do it, but I believe there is an Ubuntu howto someplace on the Ubuntu Forums/site. But if you do no longer does grub have to have the booting info in the first 1G of the disk. Lotsa good howtos for Linux in General and on howto resize the partition of Windows. I now have a t40 with a corrupted hd and apparently a screwed up rescue image. more later. a bit disgusted at the moment. Don't know what was lost. Nothing overly critical...some financial stuff (bill pay confirmations) and some other minor stuff. Most info had been moved to another machine. When I bought my refurbished T41 from IBM, one of the first things I did was call IBM and request the recovery CDs. They sent them out chop-chop. I would assume Lenovo would do the same. Drop me a line if they don't and we'll see what we can work out. :-) Cheers, Scott. (Who is sorry you've had trouble with this. Software's still too temperamental.)
