Not just InfoWorld, ComputerWorld are idiots too

Love or loathe Microsoft, it would be difficult to argue that the company hasn't been a huge contributor to positive change in our quality of life in the 31 years since its inception.
Really? I wouldn't find that difficult at all. Let's look at:
- average hours in a work week
- unplanned overtime due to technical failures
- rapid, intentional obsolescence of technical skills
- expansion of identity theft to a point it enters widespread public consciousness
Not seeing much quality of life improvement there.
