Family reunion is Saturday (June 24th)

Decorating Day is Friday (June 23rd). John took the day off and we're both helping. Makes for a fast getaway if anything goes wrong, too. ;)

At midnight on Saturday, (Friday night when it hits midnight) I officially tender my resignation from the Reunion Committee!

Stern mental note to self: Stay off Reunion committees in future.

I don't know if I posted my Blue Lobster poem here last Dec, but it was about a blue lobster named Cy who was teased by the red lobsters just because he was different, and in the end he came out all right just happy being himself. Poem was shared with the family in my monthly letter, (but of course no one knows who the "red" lobsters are except the committee). ;)

Point to the above statement, Dillards featured a polo with a painted blue lobster on it recently. Pricey, but awesome! Link below.

I passed on stuffed critters for two weeks to pay for half of it. John paid the other half and we purchased the above shirt!

We hit the supermarket, got salad, box of burgers buns and condiments.
