Welcome to IWETHEY!

New two points:
1. I made no editorial comment on the information and opinions within the web site to which I posted, so I neither condone nor condemn any political leanings which a reader will claim said site has.

2. My link is the most comprehensive list that I've found to date. While your list is good, it has only the Senate. Your link is direct & to the point, without adding any commentary to the information provided. Useful if someone wanted to use it as a guide this coming November.

"Chicago to my mind was the only place to be. ... I above all liked the city because it was filled with people all a-bustle, and the clatter of hooves and carriages, and with delivery wagons and drays and peddlers and the boom and clank of freight trains. And when those black clouds came sailing in from the west, pouring thunderstorms upon us so that you couldn't hear the cries or curses of humankind, I liked that best of all. Chicago could stand up to the worst God had to offer. I understood why it was built--a place for trade, of course, with railroads and ships and so on, but mostly to give all of us a magnitude of defiance that is not provided by one house on the plains. And the plains is where those storms come from." -- E.L. Doctorow

New I have a 200+ yo political guide to georgia
written by a visitor of that time paraphrased "the person running being venal as sin, having no experience in law making or statesmanship and not wanting the $2 a day stipend to go to anyone else is elected by promising to spend no money on government services such as roads, civil defence or common good, these candidates are invariably elected by deceit and connivance of an ignorant population." cool, things havnt changed since the late 1790's
thanx,
bill
Any opinions expressed by me are mine alone, posted from my home computer, on my own time as a free american and do not reflect the opinions of any person or company that I have had professional relations with in the past 50 years. meep

Understood. I didn't say it was >your< liberal spew. And to be fair, the Senate list also came from the posted site.

Doesn't change my observations on the list though.

It is very thorough on the Dem side as far as I can tell...and overzealous in its treatment of the R side...by going into "pundits" and "other prominents" ignoring those most vocal on the D side. This is what caught me as "odd". The list of "pundits" on that side is equally bereft of military types. Lots of comedians and actors...not a great host of former jarheads. (nudge to the boys coming to the homestead;-)
