New Re: I'd like to see Walker get ...

a fair trial.

Am ofended by the blatherings of his parents as are being reported in the press - why can't someone like Walker get his (fair) trial & then the babbling families & foes can say what they think. How the hell do does Lindht or Ms Walker know he is innocent & why should their indudicious rantings get public airing before he is fairly tried & the proper evidence produced.

We are speculating here, & privately on what we guess might be the case, but at some point he has to & should get a fair trial. I do wonder how he can be charged with conspiring to kill US citizens unless their is clear-cut evidence that shows he was. The fact that he may have been told of some possible terrorist actions doesn't make him guilty of what they did. As siad many times before, if someone has evidence that he was in any way culpable for Spann's death then produce the evidence & let the process find him guilty.

If the authorities intend 'cooking the books' or lying about his guilt or the evidence then the US has 2 problems to deal with (Walker & the legal System (I know, I know - it worked perfectly for O.J.)).

I fear that Walker's trial will become another appalling episode in the vein of the O.J., debacle - making such trials public seems to do little to ensure justice is truly done.

New The concerns are good.
But there is good evidence he was a member in good standing (training for six weeks at their camp? Whew!) of the Al Queyda (however you spell it), which is a terrorist organization.

Whether they can actually pin anything on him in a court of law is another question. I doubt they'll be able to nail him for anything but minor offenses, at worst. So far as we know, he didn't kill anyone. He "conspired" with anyone? Oh what a hoot, Al Queyda or the Taliban wouldn't have been conspiring with him for nothing. Trafficking with a proscribed country, maybe. The other offenses? Maybe, but hard to prove.

But the media play with his father and mother just makes me want to puke. No, mom and dad, he is not a loyal American, he does not like America, he's a member of the Al Queyda, a terror organization opposed to the USA in every respect. He isn't a sweet loving kid. He was in a prison that erupted in a bloody rebellion before he was (re)captured. Don't give me that sweet loving crap, mom. He's a traitorous pig.

New Yes - the OJ spectre lives. Undead walk the earth.
We are unwilling to forego the delicious pre-trial in the press, of anyone ever noticed prolly doing something Odd - as the UK enforces upon its paparazzi. Even after OJ. Of course logic has nothing whatsoever to do with.. all human affairs.

Still, as Kirk said to Spock in an early series (on being reminded of mankind's propensity for self/foot/shoot/in)

Yes, we're killers! But each day I can get up and resolve, "today I will not kill" !!

Yes.. we're voyeurs! But today..

not That curious about this kid. We have our ongoing home-grown Fundamentalists whose work is never done. The resultant misery just doesn't make prime time til one o' theirs offs some Dr. or Queer or ... other 'God-damned\ufffd' victim sacrifice.. Y'know?
New OT O.J's latest ex has gone missing
Cat dead in Apt. clothes half packed, OJ said he is helping to look for her.

thanx,

New Yup, like he's looking for the "real" killer
At this moment, I'd have to take this lying weasel words with an entire mine of salt. Just one of those "coincidences" that another girlfriend has gone missing.

New Simpson spoke to her on Sunday?
This stinks worse than the dead cat. If she were alive and about, she'd have done something about her cat - live cat, she'd have fed and watered it, dead, she'd have disposed of it.

Lying weasel. Not that there will be any bloody gloves this time, I'm sure Simpson learned his lesson last time.

Oh heck perhaps I should kick myself for assuming her disappearance and relationship with Simpson goes together. Kick. Kick. Kick.
