New Emails that strike terror in the hearts of managers
{{Random End User}} tested a single type of limited job.
This system is designed for much more, which means there
is lots of complexity to exercise before we can claim it
works.

It is 5/5/2006. You wanted it operational on the 10th. I
have {{SPECIALTY CODE}} records to do, plus a variety of
loose ends. And this is without {{CLIENT SPECIFIC}}
tracking.

If you can't allocate reasonable testing time, of a variety
of jobs, with a variety of users, how could you expect this
to work?

If I was a random programmer, at this point I'd let it sit,
ignore it, and declare victory and move on. And when all
hell breaks loose in a few weeks when everyone is sitting
around a table saying: "I thought you said it was done",
I'd point back to the series of emails and play the "Not
me" game.

But I'm not.

Which means I need to escalate this if you don't take it
seriously. Or you need to tell me the timing does not
matter and I'm getting ansty for no reason.

Hopefully it was a very temporary victory of the ignorant.
