New Converting a site to use SSL
I'm setting up an internal wiki (MoinMoin, specifically) for storing critical information like the static IP address log, documentation on servers, blackmail information, etc. The idea being, we log in from various workstations, and grab the information needed at will. MoinMoin supports internal ACLs, so security isn't a HUGE issue. However, our admin wants me to at least make a stab at making the server use SSL instead of unencrypted plain traffic.

This is Apache 1.3 running on Ubuntu 5.10. I've installed the packages libapache-mod-ssl (2.8.24-1) and openssl (0.9.7g-1ubuntu1.1). Is there a quick 'n dirty way to take a site that's already working on http and wholesale move it over to https? I'm doing my own research, but I will admit that I'm definitely out of my area of knowledge, and if there's a shortcut, it would be nice.
When somebody asks you to trade your freedoms for security, it isn't your security they're talking about.
New This might help.

Just ignore the Subversiony bits.

New Sadly not.
It appears there are major differences in SSL implementation between 1.3 and 2.0 thanks to a change in the design.

New Surprised to find this

I know I used to use it, and thought there was a good tutorial on their site for it. Maybe that's changed in the last two years or so.
