I've been wearing the computer guy uniform for a long time, I'm tired of looking like a slob. And this is that heavily gender-tilted company. I enjoy the compliments on my appearance. With the right size collar, it isn't too bad. I did get a rash the first day - brand new unwashed shirt and the tie adding just enough pressure. ---- "You don't have to be right - just use bolded upper case" - annon.

Since I own somewhere around 60 ties, they've suddenly become a wasted investment, of sorts! Still, when I did have to wear them, being able to go 12 weeks without wearing the same tie twice was fun. On and on and on and on, and on and on and on goes John.
Post #25,693 by wharris2 1/25/02 9:41:18 AM Reply	I'm sorta in the same boat Every year I'd go to a local clothing warehouse sale (for a change, really held in a warehouse!) and, while looking at shirts, slacks, etc. would always pick up the most outrageous ties I could find. It's entirely a matter of perspective. And I seriously doubt anyone would give me a problem if I were to skip the tie from time to time, or wear an interesting one.
