Basically, you need to boot SafeMode and do some mumbo jumbo to have Winders redetect all your hardware. After that, maybe a visit to Winders Update will get you back in business without too much pain. I think you'll get the boot menu if you reboot Win2k and hit F8 early on in the process. HTH a bit.
