Is this not typical of any war?
All wars since the dawn of time have left cripples and the civilians get it worse. Everybody knows this is the price of war, so the price had better be worth it. This should not be a surprise to anyone.
In this case, the cause is inserting US companies into an oil rich economy (even if the oil is nationalised) and diverting the US populace from the fact the US president doesn't do any work.
What? Neo-colonialism is not a noble cause?

Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?
