At first I thought it was some invention of the current administration, but then Wikipedia tells me that it got its start back in 1930. I just found out about it yesterday. Did I miss a memo or something? Anyway, what are y'all planning for YOUR Loyalty Day celebration? Personally, since I had no time to plan I'll just have to make up for it next year. I remember Bush (the current) announcing it a few years ago, but I can't find anything about it - at the time I was under the impression that this was a "new" holiday... When somebody asks you to trade your freedoms for security, it isn't your* security they're talking about.*
