New Colbert unleashes truthiness upon press, prez
My mom told me about this over the phone earlier today; apparently it's starting to make some rounds. The videos showed up on YouTube. I got the linkage from Ars Technica's political forums.

That's the link to the discussion, I'm lazy and don't want to bring the HTML over.

I'm off to watch.
When somebody asks you to trade your freedoms for security, it isn't your security they're talking about.
New Colbert is a comic genius

He was profiled on '60 Minutes' tonight as well.

As for his Press converence presentation, there isn't much being said about it in the traditional media. Not surprising, given how he skewered the DC press corps.

The Internet, however, is abuzz, as they say.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. (Herm Albright)
New The phrase "speaking truth to power"
...has now been cheapened beyond redemption.

It's not Colbert's fault. He was just doing his job... as a stand up comic.
