Depending on how much pressusre the CO2 is under, and how cold it is, it could be liquid there. Since the peak is over 2300 feet down, it looks reasonable.

New 10 meters of water is about one atmosphere
At 2300 feet, there would be over 70 atmospheres of pressure, which definitely says that CO2 could be liquid there.
