Sounds like the natives are restless! I've not seen venom like that since the days of fuckedcompany.com. I always had the impression that despite what the external perceptions were like, Microsoft was a great place to work.

Microsoft has SUCKED as a workplace since 2001 - and has continued to suck, according to people I know who still work there.
When somebody asks you to trade your freedoms for security, it isn't your security they're talking about.

Sounds like the windows group would be one of the rotten ones.

Overall big river books can be a great place to work - except maybe for my little corner of it just now.

New Thing I notice reading that blog
Maybe there's a lot more traffic and someone prunes responses mercilessly. But for the number of replies, there's a surprisingly high signal/noise ratio. And mostly well-spoken, too.
