Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Say Hi! to Philippa
Is this the outfit with Craig from Red Dwarf as MC - seen most Sat. late nights on KTEH-54? (Not TSR - but where you play)

Whenever next I find a way for UK trip, gotta see Robot Wars live - though the audience behind screens.. is a bit too reminiscent of the same sort as seen in Rollerball .. y'know?

Gotta love it when the house robot gets a pincer nipped off by an uppity contestant! or run into Ye Pit.

Cheers, lucky bastidge

Ashton

PS - be nice to see you later post a couple reel close-ups of the naked guts of one or more of these devices.. looks like a real challenge to locate the vulnerable bits away from pick-ax action. 'Cept I guess that's secrut :(
New Not sure about Red Dwarf Craig but plenty of pics
You can start by reading the construction histories of my friend Dan Danknick at [link|http://www.teamdelta.com|http://www.teamdelta.com]. Lots of good pics and a couple movies to boot. :)

New Good luck!
By the way, I seen Robot Wars on one of the cable/satelite channels a few months ago, and they had Mick Foley MCing. Maybe it was the US version? It is nice to see Mick get a job outside the WWF after he was unfairly fired by Vince McMahon.

"Will code Visual BASIC for cash."
New Mick does the U.S.-competitor shows, so yes.
He did the MC'ing for this shoot as well. Fun guy--look for him calling me Gepetto in this series. :)

New Yer friend Dan has a proper attitude...
Gotta LOVE his:
My remedy for Microsoft:
Install an artificial heart in Bill Gates running any of his Windows operating systems; ensure the programmers utilize COM, "innovative" Microsoft technologies and a "rich feature set." Provide him unlimited phone technical support.
Now there is Innovation.

All in all, this has gotta be *F U N*.

Envious,

Ashton

PS - on the Robot Wars series, all I can get sans satellite, cable - seems (too) often that 'interference' is the complaint for dead robots.. nasty sabotage by jammer or a too sloppy control coding?
