Attended a solidarity rally for Denmark
It was 5 blocks from my office.
Started with 20 people, got as large as may be a hundred. Very orderly ancivilised (but you knew that). In the middle of the event two policewomen showed up and asked us to move across the road to a small park. That was probably the most exciting part of the event :).

Well done!
Should we look for you in photos [link|http://www.snarksmith.com/index.html#BBRally|here]? (Via [link|http://www.hitchensweb.com|Hitchens Web].)
I would have liked to have gone to the one in DC, but the timing was bad.
Cheers, Scott.

Demonstrations are good, but only as a first step.
The Danes need to move beyond this to large scale armed resistance. Take the fight to the enemy. Pick some dictatorship that's supporting terrorism and using anti-Americanism to distract its subjects. Pick a small one, seeing as Denmark is a small country. Go in and remove the dictatorship. If every free country did this, the world would be safe for democracy in no time.
And Dubya needs to get in front on this. He's been off his game lately.

Pick some dictatorship that's supporting terrorism and using anti-Americanism to distract its subjects. You mean like the executive branche of the USA?
