A good deal of them aren't from this site exclusively.

I'll cool it for a while... :-)

Not a problem.
Collections of the work of others is covered by copyright law. The LRPD collection seems to be a fine example of what is covered by that law.

You misunderstand the issue
We have a copyright on the compilation, fine. But others may as well.
In particular at least 1 [link|http://www.stlyrics.com/songs/k/kingsofconvenience7559/winningabattlelosingthewar380634.html|song] and one [link|http://www.terrybisson.com/meat.html|short story] are divided into LRPDs, and there may be more. Using them as LRPDs is fair use. Quoting them in their entirety in a book likely isn't.
Cheers, Ben

Can be compiled for private use
We don't need to publish the book for the public at large. We can just print up a few for the IWE natives.
Remember, bootleg copies don't exist ;-)

What if they're separated?
ie. the entire song may be there, but not in order or even coincident.

At some point we're arguing angels dancing on a pin...
To find out what is accepted, one must consult a theologilawyer.
But my suspicion is that it wouldn't be OK. Clearly copying the lines violates copyright - the only question is whether it is fair use. One line out of context seems like fair use to me. All at once does not.
Cheers, Ben

Re: In particular at least 1 song [*]
Actually there are two: Kip Addotta's "Wet Dream" has at least 4 LRPD's that I've seen.

"Chicago to my mind was the only place to be. ... I above all liked the city because it was filled with people all a-bustle, and the clatter of hooves and carriages, and with delivery wagons and drays and peddlers and the boom and clank of freight trains. And when those black clouds came sailing in from the west, pouring thunderstorms upon us so that you couldn't hear the cries or curses of humankind, I liked that best of all. Chicago could stand up to the worst God had to offer. I understood why it was built--a place for trade, of course, with railroads and ships and so on, but mostly to give all of us a magnitude of defiance that is not provided by one house on the plains. And the plains is where those storms come from." -- E.L. Doctorow

You misunderstood me
To the best of my knowledge, the entire song has been chopped up and added to the LRPD mix. One song is now many LRPDs. Ditto the meat short story.
