Like Darrell I have had a Yamaha 4416S(actually the external 4416SX model) working with RSJ for a long time. There is an article on it in the VOICE Newsletter, but this model is so old at this point there's not much point in reading it.

Now it seems that IDE drives are working well under OS/2, so a SCSI drive isn't a requirement like it once was. There will be a review of an IDE 24X10X40 CDRW drive (Teac CD-W524E) in the upcoming February issue of the VOICE Newsletter. According to this review(written by Don Eitner) this drive is really fast and works well with Audio/Data-CD-Creator and CDRecord/2 (freeware) under OS/2.

Review will be out February 1st.
