Try this as an exercise
Summarize the series in a single, pithy, descriptive sentence that will hook the average TV viewer.
Not to take the blame off of Fox, but this was a tough series to market and their fumbling efforts didn't help.
To wit:
- Showing the pilot episode last.
- Pre-empting the show for baseball
- Showing it at odd hours (like midnight)
- Showing the episodes out of order
- etc.
That being said, I've hooked my sisters and brothers on the series, as well as several of my students and co-workers.
