New Re: If using Firefox (or Mozilla, I believe)
Thanks to both of you for such a quick response.

When I follow Drew's suggestion (thanks Drew), I end up with a small file (10k) which cannot be played. Is it possible that this is simply a pointer to a much larger file? The flash movie that I watched was 5 or 6 minutes long, indicating more than 10k in size. Have you ever tried to save one of these and been successful? Can it even be done?

I appreciate your help. Thanks.
New Definite maybe
Depending on how the animation is done, you can get surprisingly long playtime from small files. But this sounds like they're using a flash player to dynamiclally stream content from somewhere else. Google does this for their video site. Unless you can disassemble the flash to figure out where the media is actually coming from, you're probably screwed.

If it's not animated, then it's definitely not a "flash movie". It's a movie in some other format (mpg, mov, wmv) wrapped in flash controls.
