Feb 6-10, San Fran area?
It appears that my wife and I will be making the UC Davis trip together, and she will be trying to spend some time with friends in the San Francisco area. I don't know our schedule, itinery, etc, but we will try to split up for a day (possibly Sat) during which I would like to see some zIWETHEY people...
Cheers, Ben

Schedule?
Ben,
Keep us posted on your schedule. If its a Saturday I could probably make it. I am 2 1/2 hours outta San Fran., but I could do the drive.
How about you other Bay Area zIWETHEYers? Can anyone else make it?

Still trying to figure that out. :-)
But I am thinking Saturday for a general get-together because working people would probably find that easier to make than any other day. (I would be flying back some time Sunday.)

I'll be (barely) in Napa
...should just be settling into the new pad (you can help me unpack boxes ;-). There's plenty see-do up here, we're halfway between SF and Sacto/Davis (80 to 29 (from SF) or 12 (from Davis), and north). Otherwise, I could treck either to Davis (know some haunts) or SF.
Balloons, anyone?

By balloons do you mean hot air balloon rides?

Yes
I figure this group should qualify for a cut rate, seeing as how we generate our own (hot air, that is)....
There's both Napa Valley and some stuff out in Yolo. Usually an early morning thing (cold air => more lift). Not sure if there's anything going in February though, need to check.

Balloons - yes.
One took off from about 100 yards from my house, once - but not a great landing area given the trees and hills.
Be hell to be up and around at dawn but, maybe I could just stay up.. Bring camera! (and champagne - fizzier up there)

Initial inquiry
Looks like flights are year-round. Not sure of prices though in the range of $75/person sounds close. I'll dig into this, seems we might host one of the company's websites ;-)

Sounds fun
I've gone up in several balloons.
Never landed in one though. :-)

Re: Feb 6-10, San Fran area?
I live in Sausalito, work in SF so if its a weekday, we can hook up in the city or on a weekend northbay.

I should be able to make it, unless
I get sent back to Italy on short notice!
Weekend is definitely better for me, going to Napa wouldn't be a problem (on a weekend).
