Labrynthitis
Is what got me a [link|http://www.cureresearch.com/l/labrynthitis/intro.htm|ride] in an ambulance friday evening.
Sucks big time. I've been sleeping almost non-stop since. Much too dizzy to move about much. I did make it to the couch to see the seahawks disgrace themselves but that's about it.
Its like the spins after drinking - vomiting included. Can't drive much less walk a straight line. Reading is possible in very short bursts. Programming is completely beyond me just now.
Here's hoping it really does only last "about as long as a cold".

This makes the second illness that I never want to hear about again.

What was the other?
I bet I can top it with something a friend of mine had. :-P
