None - get a trackball

Post #240,766 by broomberg 1/8/06 5:14:16 PM Reply	None - get a trackball I can ONLY use a Kensington Expert Mouse for any length of time. With the proper accelleration, you can throw the cursor to the other side of the screen, and then have immediate microscopic manipulation. Which an incredibly small amount of finger and almost NO wrist movement. Thumb to left click, ring or pinky to right click, first and middle finger to control the ball. I don't like the other trackballs because they are too small or do not have upper buttons. The larger the ball, the more fine tuned your small movements can be. They cost $90 and are worth every penny.

Post #240,779 by Another Scott 1/8/06 8:20:48 PM Reply	Second on the trackball. Get a splint too. My CTS never got that bad, but using a trackball (with an Ace-ish adjustable wrist splint for several weeks) helped tremendously. I haven't had wrist pain in many months. Best of luck! Cheers, Scott.

I used to get sore wrists playing when playing games for hours on end, but once I got the trackball it didn't bother me anymore. They are hard to get also, $70 to $100 on EBay. Jay

Haven't had any problem there even the times I've had a hurt thumb (the stroke is just like hitting the space bar). I've used Kensington Orbit track balls for as long as I can remember.
