Well...to give Bush credit...
he is taking responsibility for it. He has admitted now that he personally authorized the wiretaps.
The next couple of questions get interesting though - can the President authorize those wiretaps? (Certain John Yoo, White House Counsel thought so....but then again, John Yoo thought the President could torture also.)
I'm not sure what happens next.

Oddly enough (to my ears, anyway) - 'impeachment'

Have rarely heard the pro-forma cops n' carwreck blatherers come close to a mention, before. Switche around - another one of these quoted the congresscritter who remarked, President Bush is not King Bush ...)

But it may make the 06 elections far more critical.
