New T'was the place
Very nice digs for the likes of me.

I will likely return, however I know not when.

New SFO - Places to eat....
It's been a 18 months now...

But you might try Lori's Diner, a 50's style restaurant.
In and Out Burger.
There's a really good Italian place on the first floor of the Drake Hotel on Sutter?
Walk through Chinatown over to Little Italy on Broadway.
Steps of Rome
There's a Chinese Place we went to on the 2nd story, but I can't remember the name now.
The restaurant in the Galleria Park Hotel (also on Sutter) is good, too.
The bar there is busy in the evening.
There are a lot of fast food places in the Galleria, 3rd level.

That's all I can remember from my visit 18 months ago.

New Meeeeeeeeemmmrrreeeeeeeeees ...
Walk through Chinatown over to Little Italy on Broadway.
That's where I found the best cheesesteak on the west coase. Place was wallpapered with old issued of The Bulletin. I was like a man who just crossed the desert and ... wait, I was a man who just crossed the desert.

New Ah the Drake - FWIW I will be in SF Jan 5-9ish
I used to drop about $100 for dinner (dining solo no less) weekly at the Drake when living in the neighborhood.

I love that place.

I have a european friend who is hosting a booth at MacWorld in SF and will be in town to visit with him at that time.

Mark you calendars.

New Koi Palace
if you've got a car or (maybe) BART connection AND money - it's in Daly City and is a bit pricey, but my wife says it's very, very good.
