There are 2 settings for focus on the 750z

One is equivalently "Small box in center of viewer or Nearly the whole blooming viewer" It takes a lot longer fot the large box... as it has to average everything.

Two is focus mode "Single or Continuous" Single works very well for a quick series as it only has to focus once. Continuous is just that, it basically finalizes and shoot (easily less than .50000235168709[link|#one|1] seconds using the Big Area, faster yet with the Small area)

Basically this thing is only carried online or in "Professional Photograohy Shops", I have yet to see it in places like Best Buy or the such. So, IMO, goto a Pro Photo Shop and look at it (call ahead first to find one)
