New Yeah, it asks for the disk if you've loggd in . . .
. . as a different user, and if a particular function was installed as "really install on the first use". I have clients get caught out on both these things.

I told it to do the full install of everything. It still asked for the disk. I cancelled and Word opened anyway, but I have no idea what might not work.

It's probably one of the dictionaries, a thesaurus or some clipart reference. It could even be a font. They are the sorts of things that Office really does not want to "full install".
