New I love this line
When a Windows 2000 Service Pack has been installed and tested, you may want to free hard disk space on the local computer by deleting and/or relocating the Service Pack folders. WARNING: If you use Registry Editor incorrectly, you may cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that you can solve problems that result from using Registry Editor incorrectly. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
Makes me want to run remove all the old files.

New And don't forget
Just because something is installed doesn't mean it's installed. I have Office on this work laptop. I tried to open a Word doc at home the other day. It asked for the install disk.

Yes, I did a "full install" of everything. But it still wants the install media. I think I could have pointed it to the files it left on disk, but I'm not sure. And even if that would have worked, I didn't know until that happened that I might still need those files.

New Yeah, it asks for the disk if you've loggd in . . .
. . as a different user, and if a particular function was installed as "really install on the first use". I have clients get caught out on both these things.

New I didn't
I told it to do the full install of everything. It still asked for the disk. I cancelled and Word opened anyway, but I have no idea what might not work.

New Probably one of those minor features - Print, save, or send.

New Possible real answer.
It's probably one of the dictionaries, a thesaurus or some clipart reference. It could even be a font. They are the sorts of things that Office really does not want to "full install".
