Depeche Mode rocked!
Just got back from seeing them perform in Houston. At $75 it was a bit expensive, but it made for a fine bday present to myself.
The show was excellent. A fair number of their new songs from Playing the Angel, and lots of their classics. They tried to get the audience to "sing along" with a number of the songs. That didn't work out quite so well on the new songs, the album's only been out a few weeks. The first(of two) encores included, appropriately enough, Just Can't Get Enough :-)
Anyway I'm off to bed.

I suppose that means here...they were good
Love them...but to say they ROCK! in the rock sense of the word might be a stretch.
But now, of course, gonna have to pop "Just Can't Get Enough" into the old mp3 player.
Thanks!

Thanx all - though I should have said "early"
my bday's tomorrow :-)
The opening act, [link|http://www.thebravery.com/|The Bravery], was quite good too. I picked up their album from [link|http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=52312273&s=143441|iTunes].
