I installed it once, quickly realized it sucked big time, and exited never to load it again. Didn't touch Windows again till 3.1 came out. The computer was an 86, with two floppy drives and an ega monitor.
It seemed impressive at first glance, but as soon as you tried to do anything you realized just how limited it was. The ability to open multiple windows is pointless if you can't overlap them.
And most things in Windows 1 where like that. Windows 1 felt like somebody at Microsoft showed the programmers a few pictures of a graphical system and told them 'make it work on a PC' without telling them why you would want to do that in the first place.
